The mountain with steep and wooded slopes is crowned with a urgonian limestone cliff about 200 meters high. Strongly cut by erosion, this rocky bar forms three main peaks, the North Tip, the Central Point with 1,828 meters of altitude and the South Tip with 1,791 meters of altitude.

The cliffs of the teeth of Lanfon and their privileged location above Lake Annecy make it a classic climbing route.
