The personnalities of Talloires

Yan ZORITCHAK

Talloires is source of inspiration for the artist Yan Zoritchak.
Yan Zoritchak, of Slovak origin, lives in Talloires for 15 years. He intended itself from his youngest age towards an artistic discipline: he will opt for the sculpture on glass with in particular the example of Brancusi.
He is one of sculptors on glass the most highly-rated at the world level and its creations, exposed in the museums of the whole world transport you in another universe.








François-René DUCHABLE
  
François-René Duchable is a famous pianist crowned by numerous prizes (Soliste International, Victoire de la Musique...).
Talloires profoundly marked FR Duchable: since 1995 FR Duchable participates in " the Musical Week in Bay of Talloires " which became today " Pyroconcerts " and this concept mixing classical music, nature, show and pyrotechnics incited him to take a bend in its career.







Jean-Marie GOURIO

Former chief editor of Charlie-Hebdo, writer for the Guignols de l'Info, it is in Talloires that lives henceforth Jean-Marie Gourio. The author of the " Brèves de comptoir " (1 300 000 sold copies) made the big jump of Montmartre to the Haute-Savoie. Adapted twice to the theater by Jean-Michel Ribes, theses "brèves" were born, he remembers, in the Bar des Trois Portes, which doesn't exist any more today. This day, he tells, a customer wondered if the carnivorous flowers could be vegetarians...
Jean-Marie Gourio also published " Les coccinelles de l'Etna"(1993), Chut!" (1998), "L'eau des Fleurs" (1999), "Apnée" (2005)...






Elisa HOUDRY

Already Paragliding Champion of France since 2007, Elisa Houdry picked up World Champion's title in February 2009 in Mexico. She has still shone by winning the second place during the Paragliding World Cup which took place in six stages, in particular to Talloires from 13 to 20 June 2009. She confides " when I won, my sister told me that at the age of 12-13, I had made for her a dedication: Elisa Houdry, Paragliding World Champion".
