The Gorges of the river Fier

The Aravis valley
The Cols : Aravis, Colombière, Les Annes, Croix Fry, Plan Bois.
The Plateaux : Beauregard, Confins.
The typical villages : Le Chinaillon, Le grand Bornand, Le Villard dessous, Manigod, and their old chalets.
The second middle of June and the first week of September, a site " patrimoine de la vallée " is open daily. Programs are at your disposal in the Tourist Offices.

The park was created in 1995 and has a surface of 81 000 hectares.

The southern end of lake nature reserve
Despite its geographical situation, between lake annecy and the village of Doussard and the mountains around, this huge marshland is nevertheless an exceptionnal place for many species.

The cave and waterfall of Sythenex
In the center of Bauges Nature Reserve, this surprise of nature guarantee a refreshingly pleasant visit. Bridges and walkways lead to the Vallon du St Ruph, and a 40 minute guided underground visit of source of stream.
A mechanical model and a film ullustrate the old Savoyan watermills.
